Development of an Economic Development Roadmap (2012) and Economic Development Strategy (2015) for Waikato District Council

Scope:

• Research and analysis of sectoral trends (agriculture, manufacturing, transport, construction, tourism, energy, Maori development); analysis of population estimates and projections, industrial land area estimates, employment and housing projections;
• Designed and conducted stakeholder interviews with businesses, councils, iwi, and central government agencies
• Developed a prioritised implementation plan with performance targets and budget requirements or each action.
